Set in the farming community of Fish Creek in South Gippsland, we are surrounded by natural beauty. With the beaches of Sandy Point, Waratah Bay and Walkerville and the spectacular sights of Wilson Promontory all within an easy drive we are nestled in our own piece of paradise.
With a student base of 125, we are proud of our academic achievements and of the opportunities in leadership, arts, sport and music that are available for our students.
Our small grades enable us to focus on each child ensuring their needs are not only recognised but are also met. Each child is given the opportunity to develop to the best of their ability academically, socially, emotionally and physically. This enables them to take up their place as a valuable member of not only the school community but the wider community as well.
We have an active school council that is committed to continuous improvement and aims to provide the best possible learning environment for all. Our “Parents and Friends” committee also supports our school by raising extra funds to provide quality learning and teaching resources. They host a variety fun and engaging events that helps the students develop a sense of community spirit and connectedness.
Fish Creek & District Primary School acknowledge the traditional owners of this land and pay our respects to elders past and present.
